Run, hop, skip, jump, crawl, climb, throw….exercises that Kids love to do & can Get Fit doing so. Get Fit Kids is a structured exercise program specifically for Kids from the age of 6 (or Year 1). This program covers all aspects of Physical Fitness – cardio, strength, flexibility, power, coordination, agility, balance & accuracy. This program is the perfect addition or compliment to other sporting activities. The average team sport is skill orientated where most of the session is spent on drills to develop skills for that sport. There is not much time left for specific exercises to develop the weaknesses in the body. This program fills that gap & provides a complete, full body workout. Sessions are goal orientated, challenging & most importantly fun.
Get Fit Kids is run at Best Balance Health & Fitness Studio Brookvale every Tuesday 4-5pm (during school term). Classes are led by Simon Duncan who is s a certified Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor & Martial Arts Instructor who has been teaching since 2002. Simon runs Taekwondo classes for kids & has 3 young children (aged 5,7,9) so has the experience & understanding of what kids need & want
